If it wasn’t already after 6pm (local time), I’d think this is just one more sign of the apocalypse.

We do try to keep our release schedule tied to major religious and spiritual portents of doom. So look forward to episode 13 sometime around the end of the world in 2012!

    Great show, guys.

I think you nailed it on the head, with your observations of City of Heroes.

All I can say is, GW was incredibly tactical in the additional bridge to GW2 (White Mantle content), before it was nerfed.

As you mentioned, you had to really watch your opponents, whose bars synergised with each other. Just because it was called ‘generic magename’ didn’t mean it would have all the same skills as all the other ‘generic magenames’ you saw in the SAME or other groups.

Still kinda sad that Anet had to nerf them eventually. For quite a while, I was just going and killing them for sheer joy.

I hope Winds of Change (next installment of the bridge) presents the same perfect, brilliantly strategical challenge.

Evendim in Lotro was revamped recently, so it a great place to go in the 30s starting at Oatbarton and working the way through, plenty of interesting new quests together with the old, worth checking out and some good rewards (a nice trinket with a great emote, an armour set and teal weapons for each class). It’s definitely a lot better zone than the Trollshaws, which is woefully out of date, except for going to Echad Candeleth about level 40 for a bunch of quests and a nice 3-piece armour set.

I’m in the forties on my captain and really missing rested XP, on my first two characters never levelled without rested XP, it’s just too slow without and I wonder how many people they lose because of that.

@darkeye Ah, splendid, I’ll abandon the Trollshaws and schlep over to Evendim. I suppose I could look at XP boosting potions as an alternative to rested XP, but I’ll probably keep plugging away without them for a while at least.
