I've been playing it as a Single-Player RPG but my Cleric class lets me get away with that better than most, but graduating from Korthos I've realized I'm going to need back-up, and more than just my 9 y/old son's Rogue to pick locks and disarm Traps.

This game doesn't have the vacuum suck of WoW, but it's still very enjoyable, and very easy to jump into for an hour here, and hour there, and for the most part it's very easy to pick up a group for the Dungeon you need. I liked it so much, I threw Turbine some cash and unlocked a couple extra character slots.

Lol Zoso I wish I had read your post last night before I jumped solo into that "defend the fort from 200 kobolds" quest. I opened the door expecting to be able to pull the mobs in small groups as per usual and was amazed to see every kobold in the place running for me.

I never played DDO before but I created a character to try out the new F2P incarnation and I love it so far. Part of the reason I love it is that I am deliberately not playing it like an mmo but rather like a single player rpg that happens to have co-op mode.
