The only character I created in EQ2 that I really fell in love with was my Ratonga. I think they nailed the character model on those. The Fay and Sarnak weren’t bad either, but in my mind nothing can compare to those little rat folk. The rest of the races were pretty freaky to my eyes, but it’s a terribly subjective topic.

I know what you mean about it being hard to make one look good when there are bazillions of things you can do. In EQ2 I have 2 characters that I think look good, where the rest are merely “acceptably non-grotesque.” I had another at one point that I thought I’d made look good but I ended up deleting it becuz I didn’t like the class. Wish I’d thought to save the appearance settings on creation though — that one looked really good. Ah well.
