It's not the phat lewtz or new playz (yawn and yawn), it's being back and bimbling around doing whatever I please, mostly in lower-level areas. There is SO MUCH STUFF in Azeroth it's perhaps only really evident when you go back. I've got a zillion alts and I'm still not getting everywhere and seeing everything.
